What’s With the Name, Broker in Your Neighborhood?

You might be wondering why I chose to use the Broker in your Neighborhood name for this blog instead of using more serious names like CRB-Rillorta.com or Realtor.Rillorta.com. Yes, these are good names to use but it doesn’t have any weight yet as I am still starting to gain experience in this industry. Simply put, my name doesn’t ring a bell yet when it comes to real estate.  My goal for now is to build real-ationships and gain trust because most people I know is not aware that we, professional real estate brokers do exist in this universe and we have a vital role not just in the real estate industry but in helping the government improve our economy.

You might have guessed where I got this blog name…  That’s correct, from Sesame Street.  You know what? I couldn’t remember the last time I watched that program but I still clearly remember the catchy songs they sing. And that includes, “Who are the people in your neighborhood”.  This is the song where they introduce people with different professions and you could see how vibrant and friendly the characters were. It’s as if they have really known each other for so long and trust each other greatly. That is exactly what I want to build in this blog and the name  "broker in Your Neighborhood" can be easily remembered because of that song.  One other reason why I chose such name is because I am trying to reach a market. Those people who grew up watching Sesame Street have now become professionals and successful businessmen that have the capacity to invest in real estate. They can surely relate to this name and I can use it as a common ground.

So you see, I ‘m not trying to be funny here.  I am really the friendly real estate broker in your neighborhood.  Share this site to your friends will you, friend!
